This western television series depicts the exploits of the Cisco Kid (Duncan Renaldo) based upon a character from the O. Henry short story collection HEART OF THE WEST (1907). The Cisco Kid was portrayed in many early films including IN OLD ARIZONA (1928) for which Warner Baxter as the Cisco Kid won the second Academy Award for Best Actor.
